Welcome to Custom Tale Studio. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About Our Products

Custom Tale Studio creates personalized, AI-assisted storybooks based on information you provide. Each book is uniquely generated using artificial intelligence and is customized specifically for you. Because of this personalized, on-demand nature, each product is created exclusively for the individual customer.

2. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Our storybooks are created using artificial intelligence (AI) language models. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Stories are generated by AI based on the personal details you provide.
While we strive for high quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain minor errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected phrasing.
Cover artwork is generated by AI image models and may not be an exact likeness.
We do not guarantee that the generated content will match any specific expectation beyond what is described in your order.

3. Digital Products & Delivery

PDF and digital products are delivered by email to the address provided at checkout, typically within minutes of your order being processed. By purchasing a digital product, you agree that:

Digital products are delivered electronically and are not eligible for return or refund once the file has been generated and sent.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address at checkout.
If you do not receive your PDF within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder and contact us at hello@customtalestudio.com.

4. Print Products & Shipping

Paperback and hardcover books are printed on demand through a third-party print partner (Lulu Press) and shipped directly to you. Delivery times vary by location, typically 7–14 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by the print partner or shipping carriers.

5. Refund Policy

Digital products (PDF): Due to the personalized, on-demand nature of our digital products, all sales are final once your file has been generated and delivered. We do not offer refunds on digital orders.

Print products (Paperback & Hardcover): If your printed book arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with a photo of the damage at hello@customtalestudio.com. We will arrange a replacement at no charge.

Exceptions: If there is a technical error on our part that prevents delivery of your product, we will either regenerate and redeliver your order or issue a full refund at our discretion.

6. Your Content & Privacy

You retain ownership of the personal details you submit (names, photos, etc.). By submitting this information, you grant Custom Tale Studio a limited license to use it solely for generating your book. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. You are responsible for ensuring that any photos or personal details you submit do not infringe on the rights of others and are submitted with appropriate consent.

7. Intellectual Property

The generated storybook content is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may print, share, and enjoy your book for personal purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or claim authorship of AI-generated content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Custom Tale Studio's branding, website design, and platform are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit personal details that are defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that we determine, at our sole discretion, contains inappropriate content.

9. Limitation of Liability

Custom Tale Studio's liability is limited to the amount paid for your order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
